=Summary=

-
A mod in production by Warfreak. Is planned to contain 3 new races, 16 campaign maps, 5 MP maps and 8 instant action as of now.

-

-
This mod will be released as 4 separate "mini-mods" that will share the same common assets folder, allowing for you to own

-
only one of the race-specific mods and still able to play others using the Rodian Wars Mod.

-

-
The "Mini-mods" are as follows.

-

-

-
'''Aidorian Prolude''' - Focuses on the Aidorian Race, the Precursors of the Rodian. Includes 4 campaign maps, the Aidorian assets, and 2 IA maps.

-

-

-
'''Enter Phios''' - Focuses on the Phios, the Fury of the Aidorian. Includes 3 campaign maps, the Fury-like Phios assets, and 3 IA maps.

-

-

-
'''Rodian Story''' - Focuses on the Rodian, Last of the Aidorian. Includes 6 campaign maps, the Rodian/Aidorian assets, and 2 IA maps.

-

-

-
'''End of Phios''' - Focuses on the Sol, hybrids made from Phioan units and an unknown alien race.  Includes 3 campaign maps, the Sol assets, and

-
1 IA map.

-

-

-
Then there is the Assets folder, which will NOT be included with any of the mods. It will include the following:

-

-
- The BASIC race files, including the Phios assets, Rodian assets, and Alien assets. These are the "true" races of this mod.

-

-
- 5 MP maps for use with the mod.

-

-
- Any assets used with the 4 "mini-mods" that are not included with them.

-

-
=Notes on Races=

-

-
The mod exclusive races are variants of the Phios, Rodian, and Alien races. The diffrences can be found below:

-

-

-
- '''Aidorian''': this race utilizes some of the "stock" Rodian assets, but is generally more technologically advanced, yet has weaker weapons and armor.

-

-

-
- '''Rodian/Aidorian''': this race is nothing more than beefed up Aidorian assets and some of the Rodian assets.

-

-

-
- '''Fury-Phios''': this race is a simpler form of the Phios assets, set up with nothing but offensive units and little base structures.

-

-

-
- '''Sol''': this race is much more than a utilization of both Alien and Phios assets. It is practically a race of its own, utilizing biometal pools for units, converting enemy units into their own, this race is a DLL driven assimilator in the control of the player, and will be the most difficult to efficiently create as a playable race.

-

-

-
The original races are also described below:

-

-
- '''Rodian''': A race that does NOT utilize biometal for units. They break down "Ferrum Scrap" and use that to make their ships, making them relatively weaker than biometal craft. They utilize completely movable bases and can deploy all-in-one field bases. Their craft may be weak, but their weaponry and technology make up fully for their flaws, like Overdrive Thruster.

-

-

-
- '''Phios''': These beasts are the definition of Biometalloid. Made of nothing but pure biometal, these Fury can deploy all of their base structs on biometal pools, allowing for quicker gathering. However, since they are biometal, it takes MUCH more of the substance to create units, and they cannot handle immense heat, making lava and molten metal a great weakness.  They can access any of the biometal-derived technology of man, allowing them to create hover unit and enabling them to use energy weapons much more effeciently. They, however, cannot create thick sheets of armor for themselves, making them very vulnerable to heavy weaponry.

-

-

-
- '''Alien''': These strange creature strive off of other units. They are completely unable to produce nothing but more of their parasitic selves unless they can commandeer enemy craft. Once they have hijacked enemy craft, they may make their own monsterous variations. Only Biometal Craft and some Rodian craft are subtible to this humiliation.

-
=Notes on Maps=

-

-
Since only the assets folder comes with multiplayer maps, only the original 3 races can be used online.

-

-
However, there will be maps released later on to utilize any combination of the 4 mods plus the assets folder. There will also be maps released to play as the opposing race on any of the mods as IA maps. I.E if you want to play as the Phios on an Aidorian Mission, there will be a map released for you to do so.

-

-
It should also be noted that any stock races or othermoddly race (Hadean, Phaer Rhan, Swarm, etc.) will NOT be playable until the appropriate changes to their odfs are made and variations of the ships are made for use with the "alien" race and any races branching off from it.
