Starfield Tutorial: Speedtest279 viewsTested how fast I could follow my own tutorial and produce an image.
Clocked in at just about 2 and a half minutes.SteeveeoMay 15, 2009
Starfield Tutorial - Cover Image344 viewsThis is the final product of a tutorial I just finished writing.
This tutorial covers both the basic and advanced techniques to creating starfields. This is a good tutorial for BZ2 artists looking for some way to paint skydomes with interesting imagery.
Attempt: City Planet497 viewsDidn't turn out as well as hoped...city buildings are noticably WAY too big...oh well, there's always next time...SteeveeoMar 05, 2009
Concept Planet: Myrrha309 viewsMyrrha is designated as a Greenhouse type planet, in which the vapors released from chemical jets that litter the surface of the Myrrha seal in solar heat and raise the temperatures in this toxic atmosphere to dangerous levels.SteeveeoFeb 26, 2009

Kinda bright, but wouldn't any supernova be?SteeveeoJan 14, 2009
Drips of Mercury310 viewsMade by chroming a bunch of Lens Flares, quite a nice effect if I do say so myself!
I find the coolest things just mucking around in the menus. :P
What's more? This also works as an AWESOME heightmap for a Mercury/Venus type map (Tested in Rhino3D)!SteeveeoJan 12, 2009
Crystal's Moon441 viewsEdited an image of the moon as a favor for a friend.SteeveeoDec 24, 2008
Singapore Sunset 4:3488 viewsSame as the one uploaded before this one, but in 4:3 aspect ratio (Fullscreen) as opposed to 16:9 (widescreen).
Both widths are 1600, so this is 1600x1200, and the widescreen is 1600x900. Both should fit fine on either type of monitor.
Havent yet tested this on a CRT, lets hope it still looks good, may have to make a CRT version like I have done for other pictures (not uploaded, just on my comp for now).SteeveeoDec 12, 2008
Singapore Sunset - 16:9337 viewsBase was a normal ordinary sunny day in Singapore (sun not in shot), with powerlines and such in the way. Cut, patched, and masked the new sky in, placed a lensflare sun, then applied a warming photofilter to the city, then used levels to make it dark, while keeping the brights bright. Finally, I added a Godray effect to make a neat washout effect around the "Sun."
A tutorial for that Godray effect can be found here: http://www.filedropper.com/godraytutorialSteeveeoDec 12, 2008
